Who we are
Tamil Muttram is a community platform by iLearnTamil. A "muttram" is the open courtyard at the heart of a Tamil home, where everyone gathers. In the same way, our aim is to bring Tamils everywhere — everyone who loves the Tamil language, arts and culture — together in one place.
What we do
Bringing Tamils together

For artists and artisans
We organise events for Tamil artists and artisans. Every artist gets a free listing with photos of their work, an introduction and contact details, so the public can reach them directly and book them for weddings, festivals and school events.
Opportunities for young people
Job fairs, free courses, spoken English classes, medical camps and sports events — we list many services and job opportunities for young people in one place.
Learning Tamil
iLearnTamil has run Tamil classes online and in person for 15 years — spoken Tamil, reading and writing, and school syllabuses — for children and adults alike.
